This year I wanted to do something special for the Relay for Life our church is doing. This is our third year to do the relay in Canton, Michigan. I am walking for Cherry Hill United Methodist Church, my local church. This year I have even more reason to walk my brother in law is fighting stage four brain cancer which has now spread to his leg and pelvic area. So this walk is for him and all others who are fighting the biggest fight of their lives.

Some of you may know I design, sew and sell custom doll clothes for 18 inch and 16 inch dolls - American Girl Dolls and knock off AG dolls. I love my job and it allows me to be super creative. Also, luckily for me, I happen to love purple and it is my favorite color. Last year I decided to make some doll outfits for the two Relay for Life's I participated in. I sold everything I brought to both of them. So this year I knew I was going to make more outfits. I started thinking what I would like to make a couple of months ago. I started buying my purple fabric and checked my stock of Relay fabric. So I started designing and sewing. My outfits are starting to pile up (well a little at least).

I made up my mind last night I wanted to share with you what I made and hopefully encourage some of you to purchase an outfit or two. 100% of the profits will go to Relay for Life, the only thing I will keep is the mailing fee ($1.00 per outfit). Every outfit comes with one Relay for Life item (either a cool headband or head scarf for the dolls). Most outfits will be purple, but a few will be Breast Cancer pink. All are lovingly handmade. I will be posting an outfit a day up until the Canton Relay for Life on May 19th.

If you are interested in purchasing an outfit, please e-mail me at roxie@geiser-weaver.com. I take Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, AE, and cash. If you have no one to buy for please take a minute to pass this on to a friend it will be greatly appreciated. Also, please leave feedback, it is greatly appreciated!
